The issue is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Impact includes unauthorized modification or defacement of displayed content, and potential theft of user authentication information, allowing attackers to impersonate users and access sensitive data. If an administrator is impersonated, the entire application’s security may be compromised.
