Description
This SAP security note addresses several vulnerabilities identified in BI Workspace, Infoview and CMC of SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform. The vulnerability details along with their CVE relevant information can be found below.
Information Disclosure
Under certain conditions, BIWorkspace allows an attacker to access information which would otherwise be restricted.

Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)
- SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (Info View) allows an attacker to give some payload for keyword in the search. It is executed while “search” performs its action, resulting in Stored Cross-Site Scripting(XSS) vulnerability.

- Under certain conditions SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (Central Management Console), allows an attacker to store a malicious payload within the description field of a user account. The payload is triggered when the mouse cursor is moved over the description field in the list. This results in Stored Cross Site Scripting vulnerability when generating the little yellow informational pop up box.
