Description
Symptom
An authenticated user can use functions of ABAP Language to which access should be restricted. This may result in an escalation of privileges.
Solution
The reports exposing the vulnerable functions are deactivated by removing the code through the correction instructions provided with this note. Additionally, the programs are removed with the support packages mentioned in this note.
Reason and prerequisites
ABAP Language does not contain authorization checks for verifying an authenticated user’s authorization to access certain functions. This omission may lead to undesired system behavior.
