Description
Symptom
An authenticated user can use RFC enabled functions of BW to which access should be restricted. This may result in an escalation of privileges.
Solution
An explicit authority check on transaction code (authorization object S_TCODE) is introduced.
Reason and prerequisites
Besides the S_RFC, the RFC module does not contain authorization checks for verifying an authenticated user’s authorization to access some of its functions. This may result in undesired system behavior.
