Description

Symptom

A malicious user can use specially crafted inputs to change stored data for the component BC-ESI-ESF.

Solution

Implement the correction instructions or import the relevant Support Package.

Reason and prerequisites

The problem is caused by an SQL injection vulnerability. The code composes an SQL statement including strings that can be altered by a malicious user. This can be used to manipulate the resulting complete statement and, therefore, to modify the database contents.
