Description
Symptom
An attacker can discover information relating to passwords of users running programs that use the SAP Classic RFC SDK. This information could be used to allow the attacker to specialize their attacks against SAP systems.
Solution
Replace the existing classic RFC shared library (librfc32) with the corresponding patch listed in this SAP Note.
Reason and prerequisites
Information such as the user password can be discovered using the SAP Classic RFC SDK. This information may be used by an attacker to further target SAP systems.
