Description
- Session cookies transferred via plain HTTP connection could be stolen and used for session hijacking. Normally you would use the property SystemCookiesHTTPSProtection descibed on help.sap.com but then you can no longer have a scenario that uses anonymous browsing via HTTP (and session still maintained in HTTP) and authenticated user’s browsing via HTTPS.
- You need to know when to use the property SystemCookiesHTTPSProtection or the property SecuritySessionIDHTTPSProtection
- After implementing Note 1310561 and setting SystemCookiesHTTPSProtection property to true, it is no longer possible to browse a Web shop and add items to cart anonymously via http. It is mandatory to use https.
