XSS attacks protection, SAP security note 1175239

Description

Security issues detected in the scope of authentication mechanism. The following features are introduced:

– Provide encryption for the http parameter used for navigation after successfull authentication by the SAP Logon Application. This prevents atacks when the attacker could switch the value of the parameter thus causing the user to navigate to fake URL after the login.

– Escape and check for special scripting characters for all kind of inputs for the logon application.

– Escape the value of the hidden input field for the preservation of the initial post parameters
