SQL injection vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver, SAP security note 2051717

Description

A vulnerability in the SAP NetWeaver enables a malicious user to execute targeted database queries, with which the back-end database can be exposed.

The known effects of the SQL injection vulnerability include the following:

  • Reading of sensitive data, modification or deletion of data from the database
  • Ability to execute operations for the database at the admin level
