Unauthorized modification of displayed content in ROS, SAP security note 1478860

Description

The creation of a supplier in the SRM application on basis of Potential Supplier registered in SRM ROS (Registration of Supplier) application be could be abused by a malicious user, who could modify displayed application content without authorization and potentially obtain authentication information from other legitimate users.

Creation of a Supplier in the SRM application on basis of Potential Supplier registered in SRM ROS (Registration of Supplier) application is affected. The communication is based on OPI protocol.

Due to a vulnerability which exists in this communication
it is possible for a hacker to inject malicious code into the above mentioned applications at runtime which can allow them to perform unauthorized actions without the knowledge of the logged in user.
