WDP Performance problems or increase in handle consumption, SAP security note 1224599

Description

After you import the SAP Web Dispatcher with patch level 7.10 108, 7.00 163 or 6.40 236, performance problems occur if the system is heavily loaded.

You can use suitable operating system tools (for example, Perfmon in Windows) or netstat to see that the usage of handles at runtime significantly increases when compared to previous versions of the Web dispatcher.
In the status TIME_WAIT, netstat displays a large number of network connections..
