Solution
The problem in sapstartsrv is resolved with the following patch levels:
- Release 640: Patch Level 270
- Release 700: Patch Level 195
- Release 701: Patch Level 30
- Release 710: Patch Level 139
- Release 711: Patch Level 26
- Release 720 and above: fixed in the release
Reason and prerequisites
A certain type of invalid request causes sapstartsrv to terminate.
