Description
Symptom
An authenticated user can use functions of LO-SCI-POI to which access should be restricted. This may result in an escalation of privileges.
Solution
The issue is resolved by implementing this SAP Note.
Reason and prerequisites
LO-SCI-POI does not contain authorization checks for verifying an authenticated user's authorization to access certain functions. This can lead to undesired system behavior. Before implementing this correction, you must fully implement SAP Note 1882417.
