Description
Symptom
An authenticated user can use functions of IMG's BAdI activation to which access should be restricted. This may result in an escalation of privileges.
Reason and prerequisites
IMG's BAdI activation does not contain appropriate authorization checks for verifying an authenticated user's permission to access certain functions. This oversight may lead to undesired system behavior.
Solution
The correction provided by this SAP Note introduces additional authorization checks on S_DEVELOP with OBJTYPE (values "ENBC" and/or "SXCC") and ACTVT (value "02"). Please apply the Support Package mentioned in this SAP Note or follow the correction instructions.
