Description
Symptom
An authenticated user can use functions of BC-ILM-LCM to which access should be restricted. This may result in an escalation of privileges.
Solution
Implement the correction instructions or import the Support Package referenced in this SAP Note.
Comment: an updated SAP Note 1933591 is available for Basis Release 701. If the structure SLCM_S_OBJECT_IDENTIFIER for one of the earlier Support Package levels does not exist in the system, this SAP Note describes the procedure for creating it manually.
Reason and prerequisites
BC-ILM-LCM does not contain authorization checks for verifying an authenticated user’s permissions to access certain functions. This oversight may result in undesired system behavior.
