Symptom
An authenticated user can use functionality of OPMFND to which access should be restricted. This can potentially result in an escalation of privileges.
Solution
Implement the correction instructions attached with this note or deploy the following service pack versions (or higher):
- OPMFND 2.01 SP07
- OPMFND 3.0 SP02
Reason and prerequisites
OPMFND lacks permission checks for an authenticated user’s authorization to access some of its functionality. This may result in undesired system behavior.
